Symphonic UIL
On March 4, 2024, Reedy's Varsity Symphonic Orchestra performed at the 2024 Region 24Â HS Orchestra UILÂ Concert and Sight-Reading Evaluation. Performing pieces such as Fuga Con Pajarillo by Aldemaro Romero and Maria Teresa, the orchestra achieved sweepstakes with superior ratings in both Concert and Sight-Reading performances. We are so proud of the directors and students for their hard work in preparation for this competition!
FISD All-State Recognition School Board Meeting
Following the UIL performances, FISD recognized the Reedy All-State students at the school board meeting on March 4, 2024. The five Reedy orchestra, choir, and band students were honored in front of district administration, school board members, and many guests. Congratulations to Reedy Orchestra's Christian Yohannes, Daniel Yi, and Ananya Nair for their amazing musical achievement!
Panda Express Spirit Night
On March 20th, Reedy Orchestra students were encouraged to order Panda Express online for pickup or delivery. Students used a promo code and could then fundraise and support Reedy Orchestra!
Karaoke/Just Dance Social
To wrap up the month of March, students are encouraged to attend the Karaoke/Just Dance orchestra social on Thursday, March 28th from 4:30-6:30 pm. The event will be held in the orchestra hall involving snacks, singing/dancing, and amazing memories made with all the Reedy Orchestra students!
