For April, we wanted to highlight Antonio Salieri, an Italian composer and conductor of the classical era. Salieri was born in Legnago, Italy, but moved to Austria and lived there for most of his adult life. He was renowned for his work composing and conducting, specifically in opera. Some of his most famous works include Armida and Les Danaïdes. Salieri is remembered for his pivotal contributions to the field of opera.
